Samyoung Unitech signed MOU with Dalat, Vietnam
The Global Nuclear Strategic Research Institute (President: Kim, Si-Hwan) established the Nuclear Safety Technology Center at Dalat University in Vietnam and held an opening ceremony on May 29 to strengthen its nuclear safety capabilities in Vietnam.
Following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the opening of an office for the promotion of radiological technological cooperation between Dalat University and Samyoung Unitech Co. Ltd., a Korean manufacturer of radiopharmaceuticals, was held.
In order to enhance the quality of life and environmental protection in the field of nuclear energy use, it is essential to nurture human resources in the nuclear safety field and secure safety assessment capability. To this end, GINIS (Global Institute for Nuclear Initiative Strategy) has helped Dalat University to grow into a university specialized in nuclear safety and has established the Nuclear Safety Technology Center.
Since April, GINIS has been carrying out ‘Science and Technology Support Project for developing countries’ by the Korea Research Foundation. Through this experience, GINIS is planning to nurture experts in nuclear safety in Vietnam.
It is expected that the technical cooperation of the nuclear medicine field and the export industry of radiopharmaceuticals will be revitalized with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding on radiation technology cooperation between Samyoung Unitech and Dalat University.
